Saurav Kumar, Ph.D., is a TWRI Faculty Fellow and an assistant professor at Texas A&M AgriLife Research and the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. He is based in El Paso, Texas. There, he leads the water system dynamics modeling and resilience research program.

Katie Lewis, Ph.D., is a TWRI Faculty Fellow and an associate professor of soil chemistry and fertility. She is provided the opportunity to enhance the agricultural resiliency of the Texas High Plains region that is vitally important to both Texas and the nation while helping educate future scientists, farmers, society and policymakers.

Itza Mendoza, Ph.D., is a TWRI Faculty Fellow and an assistant professor at Texas A&M School of Public Health. Her research interests include experimental and mathematical models to understand the transport and persistence of contaminants in the environment and associated health effects.
