Yina Liu, Ph.D., is a TWRI Faculty Fellow and an assistant professor of Oceanography and an Analytical Chemistry Research and Development Team Lead of the Geochemical and Environmental Research Group at Texas A&M University. Her research focus areas include organic biogeochemistry, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), chemical ecology, atmospheric chemistry, high-resolution mass spectrometry, mass spectrometry data science, and cheminformatics.

Xingmao ‘Samuel’ Ma, Ph.D., P.E., is a TWRI Faculty Fellow and an associate professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research interests span from studying the fate and transport of emerging environmental contaminants such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and micro/nanoplastics to developing effective treatment technologies for different environmental pollutants.
